Brief about Plays and Drama

1. Opera: A play or drama with music and songs, it’s also called Melodrama (sweet song). The songs of opera are called ARIAS.

2. Broadway Musical: Broadway is a name of street in New York. This street has many dramatic and musical theaters. Thus, they are called Broadway Drama or Musical.


3. Kabuki Theater: Traditional Japanese popular drama with singing and dancing is called Kabuki Theater.

4. Ballet: Dancing in which fixed poses and steps are combined with light flowing movements.

5. Ballet Folklorico: Traditional and famous stories are presented in dancing with music and songs.

6. Panto mime: A play or drama in which the actors and actress don’t used words; but they express by using bodily language and facial movements.
